Xundian county of Yunnan Province is rich in mineral resources and the local government has been proactively introducing overseas financing to achieve economic development across different sectors. To seize the business opportunities, Yunnan Enterprises established Xundian Jinyuan Mining Ltd. for mineral exploitation business in Xundian county.

On 23 March 2009, the Department of Land and Resources of Yunnan Province granted the Certificate of Approval for Exploration of Mineral Resources for Jinyuan Phosphor Mine in Xundian County, to Kunming Tianda Mining Ltd, which is wholly owned by the holding company of Yunnan Enterprises, namely Tianda Group Ltd. Set out below is the basic information of Jinyuan Phosphor Mine :

• The tenement has a site area of approximately 10.3 sq. km.
• Preliminary survey indicated that it is a medium size phosphor mine with over 20 million tonnes of P2O5 deposits.
• Detailed geological survey is underway.

Yunnan Enterprises will consider investing in this project subject to the results of further survey and the terms and conditions for the investment are being fair and reasonable. No agreements or letters of intent of any kind have been entered into between Yunnan Enterprises, Tianda Group Ltd., and their respective subsidiaries on Jinyuan Phosphor Mine. Yunnan Enterprises will pay close attention to the progress of this mining project.
